Caolasnacon Caravan & Camping Park is nestled in an idyllic setting just outside Kinlochleven and a few miles from magnificent Glencoe, on the south shore of Loch Leven in the beautiful Scottish Highlands.
Surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery, much care has been taken to blend the site into its natural surroundings. Although off the beaten track, it is still an ideal centre for exploring the immediate area. The legendary Glencoe, scene of the famous massacre, is only 3 miles away. Within an easy days outing, and by way of Fort William and the scenic Caledonian Canal, lies Inverness, while in a southerly direction, the delightful trip to ‘Bonnie Oban Bay’.
The loch lends itself superbly to boating and fishing and the shingle beach makes launching your own boat a simple task. If water-skiing or wind surfing is your sport and you have your own boat and equipment, here is a spacious expanse of water stretching from Kinlochleven to Glencoe. Several Dive Clubs visit Caolasnacon as the water in Loch Leven hosts an abundance of marine life and interesting scenery at a range of depths.
For those who would rather keep their feet on the ground, Caolasnacon is a superb centre for climbing, hill walking and accessing the nearby cycle track. Wildlife abounds in the immediate vicinity and we are particularly proud of our resident Golden Eagles.
