Just a 5 minute walk from the picturesque village of Hope in the Hope Valley, the heart of The Peak District. We are a family run site in its 3rd generation, and have been open since the 1950′s.
Our main aim is to ensure you have a fantastic break in one of the worlds most visited national parks!
We welcome families and quiet couples, and don’t accept young single sex groups and unaccompanied teenagers to ensure your stay with us shall be a peaceful one.
Our toilet and shower facilities come highly recommended by our customers who some have compared to the large sites in Europe, well known for their superb cleanliness and attention to detail.
We have large centrally heated shower blocks with FREE HOT POWER SHOWERS plus huge family-cum-disabled showers. Bright modern ambience, spacious individual changing with hair dryers, large makeup mirrors and vanity tops.
In the ladies toilets there are more hair dryers along with pay plugs for your hair straighteners or other electrical goods, situated in the vanity area.
There are also individual vanity cubicles with sink and mirrors for more privacy. A disabled shower and loo washroom with RADAR key access is also on site and if you do not have key they are available in the office.
You could stay here a month, leaving your car on the park without exhausting the myriad footpaths that can be accessed from here – from a 30 minute walk to Castleton to as much as The Pennine way as you fancy.
On the other hand you could take a 5-minute walk to the local pubs or the Indian restaurant, Curry Cabin. Or, for the seriously athletically challenged, sit out on your pitch and watch the sun go down on Lose Hill – wine & pizza optional…World famous crags and cliffs are in abundance here with Stanage or Froggatt Edge only a few miles away so climbers of all levels are spoilt for choice.
There is simply so much to do and explore with caving, orienteering and much more right here on our doorstep.
