About The Park

Our toilet and shower facilities come highly recommended by our customers who some have compared to the large sites in Europe, well known for their superb cleanliness and attention to detail.

We have large centrally heated shower blocks with FREE HOT POWER SHOWERS plus huge family-cum-disabled showers. Bright modern ambience, spacious individual changing with hair dryers, large makeup mirrors and vanity tops.

In the ladies toilets there are more hair dryers along with pay plugs for your hair straighteners or other electrical goods, situated in the vanity area.

There are also individual vanity cubicles with sink and mirrors for more privacy. A disabled shower and loo washroom with RADAR key access is also on site and if you do not have key they are available in the office.

The Local Area

You could stay here a month, leaving your car on the park without exhausting the myriad footpaths that can be accessed from here – from a 30 minute walk to Castleton to as much as The Pennine way as you fancy.

On the other hand you could take a 5-minute walk to the local pubs or the Indian restaurant, Curry Cabin. Or, for the seriously athletically challenged, sit out on your pitch and watch the sun go down on Lose Hill – wine & pizza optional…World famous crags and cliffs are in abundance here with Stanage or Froggatt Edge only a few miles away so climbers of all levels are spoilt for choice.

There is simply so much to do and explore with caving, orienteering and much more right here on our doorstep.

Go through the village and turn left at T junction traffic lights. Laneside is on your Left after Hope train station. From M1 South bound take Jct 36 (Sheffield) turn right at the exit roundabout onto the A61. Follow this to Hillsborough. Half a mile past Sheffield Wednesday football ground turn right onto the A6101 (signposted Glossop) go straight over the roundabout and straight on at the crossroads.

Half a mile past Towsure turn left, this is still the A6101. At the T junction turn right and continue on the A6101. After the Ladybower pub at the traffic lights turn left and continue onto Bamford.
