Welcome… to our peaceful campsite situated in the countryside of the beautiful Wye Valley, near the Welsh border and the foothills of the Black Mountains.
Only a short distance from historic market towns and countryside activities at their best you can venture out every day. However with the peaceful location of our campsite it is also a great place to unwind and take in the scenery from one of our Rustic Benches. Or how about bringing a Fishing Rod and have a successful day catching Fish on our Lake?
Come and enjoy exceptional views from the lakeside setting. With a large open field surrounded by rolling hills and open skies you can experience the countryside at its most beautiful by day and the sky at its best for stargazing by night.
Hard standing pitches offer a large, level and solid area to pitch a caravan or motorhome. Every gravel hard standing at Burhope farm campsite comes with use of Electric Hookup and site facilities as standard within the price. Each pitch will have a tap which runs drinking water and also a grey water disposal point very close (they are every 2 pitches). Chemical disposal point is also on site, only a short stroll from the pitches.
Our Hard standing pitches are also available to book as a seasonal pitch.
Separate Grass pitches for tents – Available with or without Electric.
The Separate grassed area for tents is the lower section of Burhope Farm Campsite. The main field allows tents not requiring electric to freely find their own space, whilst tents requiring electric have a designated area following a flat patch of field around the hedge. all pitches may take one car per tent down with them making loading/unloading and getting around much easier.
The tent pitches price includes use of the site facilities and taps with drinking water can also be found around the outside of the field.
During wetter times of the year, tents may be able to pitch on empty hard standings, allowing the car to park on a solid surface.
We are just 3 miles from the Welsh border, and set in a valley surrounded by rolling hills and open skys. The Black Mountains, with all their incredible scenery, offer opportunities for walking, pony-trekking and nature-watching.
The River Wye is just a few miles away and if canoeing or kayaking down a river is your idea of heaven then the Wye is for you. Our local towns are Hereford, Monmouth, Abergavenny & Ross on Wye – These are Historic market towns with a combination of beautiful buildings and rich heretage as well as modern shopping.
