Welcome to Tything Barn, a dog and family-friendly naturist site in Wales.
Tything Barn is a naturist site overlooking the Cleddau Estuary - an ideal location for like-minded naturists who enjoy beautiful walks, scenery, and friendly people in a peaceful, tranquil and stunning setting.
Set in 23 acres of ancient quarries, little meadows, and the springy turfed foreshore edging the salt marsh covered by spring tides - an expanse of water nearly a mile wide with numerous moods: sometimes so still that the trees of Upton Woods opposite reflect deep and clear.
There are tidal lagoons ideal for swimming - and islands to explore. Kayaking is great fun on the estuary, where you can paddle out just for fun or take your own rod and fish for Mullet or Bass.
We hope visitors will feel free comfortable undressed or dressed, sociable or on their own, energetic or lazy - or perhaps all of these!! We just hope that you feel relaxed and at peace in the glorious surroundings - so much so that you won't want to leave, and will be certain to return.
There are camping and caravan pitches available with or without electric hookups. There are also 2 log cabins overlooking the estuary, 2 cottages with beautiful views, and a large 4 berth caravan available to rent (note that booking is essential for these self-catering options).
There a 2 badminton courts, a boules pitch in the quarry and a croquet lawn by the foreshore, balls, mallets, racquets etc are provided. Tything Barn has toilets, chemical waste disposal (green chemicals only please) shower rooms, fridges & freezers, a washing up area, washing machine, tumble dryer, and a washing line.
