The Woodlands is a family run park set in the idyllic, rural location of Devil’s Bridge, amongst the beautiful Welsh mountains.
Our camping and touring field has level hard and grass pitches. On site there is a homely tearoom, table tennis table and laundry room, 2 play areas and lots of woodland to explore.
There is good access to the park from the main road; however the field is situated in a picturesque location undisturbed by traffic.
Devils Bridge is famous for its 300ft waterfalls, the 3 bridges built one on top of the other and the steam train which takes you to the seaside town of Aberystwyth. Devil’s Bridge also has a pub, restaurant, small food and gift shops and post office.
Pitches can be selected with or without an electric hook up and you can choose between grass or hard standing pitches. Some pitches have TV aerial points for digital TV reception. Parking is next to your unit. Awnings are to be pitched on the right hand side as you are facing your designated plot. All of our basalt stone hard standings are level and measure 7m x 10m with a 3m grass area dividing each pitch. Bring rock pegs for your awnings. Unfortunately we cannot allow campfires or firepits but feel free to enjoy a BBQ.
There are picnic benches scattered throughout the site where you can eat al fresco whilst observing rabbits, squirrels and stunning red kites. Our 400 acre farm adjoins the camping field, giving you the freedom to go for walks straight from the camping field. Please bear in mind that dogs must be kept on leads at all times.
Our park is great for those who enjoy walking, sightseeing or simply taking in the fresh air and relaxing. There are walks straight from the field and within 20 minutes drive there are golf courses, horse riding, fishing lakes, bike trails, sandy beaches and Aberystwyth.
The site is a perfect base for exploring Mid Wales and the Ceredigion Coast.
A 2 bedroomed Self Catering bungalow is available for rent on a nightly basis.
