If a peaceful, relaxing holiday is on your wish list, escape to Nant-y-croi. Our working farm is a perfect holiday spot. It extends to the Cardigan Bay Coast and is home to farm animals such as cows, ponies, and donkeys.
By day, the farm offers magnificent sea views you’ll be hard pressed to find anywhere else. In summer, you can sit outdoors and take in the glorious sunsets. Whether you love the tranquility of the coast or the activity on a farm, Nant-y-croi is the place for you.
Our working farm is home to ponies, cows and donkeys. The ponies are named Pippi, Fifi, Princess, Lucy Floss, Tulip, and Jake. The farm is also home to two terriers: Wanda and Ruby. They love visiting the camping site and can be taken for walks down to our private cove. You can feed carrots to the donkeys and horses during your stay.
Nant-y-croi has all you need for a perfect holiday. It has a Camping and Caravanning site and two self-catering cottages. One of the cottages sleeps 6 adults and a baby while the other sleeps 4 adults and a baby.
The camping site is located 150 metres from the farm. It boasts lush green land and offers camping facilities for caravans and tents. Each pitch enjoys superb sea views and campers frequently spot dolphins while making breakfast or lunch. There is ample space for everyone and the site never feels overcrowded.
Young ones can play games or ride bicycles. Without a doubt, your children will love the freedom our farm offers. Washing up facilities & fridge freezers are now on site. Washing machine, tumble dryers & a washing line are available in the farmhouse courtyard.
The breathtaking Ceredigion Coastal Path traverses the farmyard moving onward to Mwnt and Borth. Mwnt has a wonderful sandy beach and a small whitewashed church. It can be easily accessed from the farm by car or foot. It is a 10-minute drive or a 20-minute walk away.
At times, bottlenose dolphins can be spotted on the beach. Other sandy beaches within easy reach include Tresaith, Aberporth, Llangrannog, and Poppit Sands. These are very popular with children looking to explore rock pools. You can also watch dolphins and seals from our private cove. If you love birdwatching, be sure to look out for razorbills, choughs, red kits, manx shearwaters, and other birds.
