We are ideally situated to tour Snowdonia, to enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the magnificent mountains and crystal clear lakes or discover the mystery of our ancient castles or visit the spectacular beaches and coastline.

Here at Tyn Cornel Camping we like to think we have everything you’ll need for an enjoyable stay. We are a small, relaxed, family-run campsite but with a four star level of camping facilities.
After a day exploring the national park or playing on the water it’s good to know you can come back to a nice hot shower or a relaxing camp fire.
We are 4 miles from Bala which is a small market town with the famous beautiful Bala Lake/Llyn Tegid the deepest natural lake in Wales a wonderful facility for fishing or sailing and all non motorized activities.
The town has many good eating places where you can take a meal or sit for a drink to relax and lap up the quiet gentle atmosphere.
Tyn Cornel Camping is on the A4212 Porthmadog road, 4 miles from Bala and just past the village of Frongoch. We are easily located from Bala – after you pass through Frongoch you will see our big green sign on the left just before our entrance. There are brown tourist signs too. Our postcode is LL23 7NU but your satnav may take you past us, to the National White Water Centre, so look out for our signs! Grid reference is SH 895398.
Entrance to the campsite is over a river bridge.
