Gwel Y Môr is a friendly Camp Site and Touring Park with a relaxed atmosphere. Our Camp Site in Situated one mile from the popular village of Abersoch on the Llyn Peninsula, only ten minutes walk from the sandy beach below the Warren Holiday Park.
The Touring Park is very popular with families during the main school holidays and due to out of holiday discounts and great facilities it is popular with those looking for a relaxing holiday at quieter times.

Gwel Y Môr is a friendly and well managed park with 24 hour wardens on site. There are 75 fully serviced pitches with both hard and soft standings available. Pitches can accommodate caravans and motor homes up to and in excess of 30 feet.
Modern clean toilet facilities are located at the entrance to the park and pitches in close proximity are available on request. This facility includes a disabled shower and toilet unit with access ramp.
Chemical toilet disposal facilities and refuse collection points are located within easy walking distance of all pitches.
There is a covered modern spacious pot washing area with hot and cold water supply, well maintained laundrette room with washing and drying facilities adjacent to toilets. We also have a small shop stocking seasonal goods (sweets, drinks and camping equipment) and Calor Gas.
We have a spacious 1 acre camping field within easy access of all site facilities but separate from main touring park. We limit the numbers on the camping field giving campers plenty of space. We have a limited number of super size pitches with electric hook ups which can accommodate units up to 10 meters square. There are water points on the field.
There are many miles of stunning beaches and coastal walks on the Llyn peninsula. For those wanting to take the kids to the nearest sandy beach, the Warren beach is a 10 minute walk. For those wanting to travel to other beaches of Llyn or the walkers amongst you please try these web sites:
Abersoch village has a vibrant night life for all ages with many restaurants and bars. During the season the village hosts the Wakestock festival, Jazz Festival, dingy week and much more. Off the beach at Abersoch you can learn to sail, windsurf and surf. Those of you with experience can hire boards and boats.
Regular fishing trips leave the beach twice a day. There are more serious trips to Bardsey Island that run from the Marina at Pwllheli. Further afield in the small market towns of Pwllheli and Porthmadog, you can find the traditional markets held once a week as well as a cinema,10 pin bowling, go carting, quad biking, archery and a leisure centre(swimming, squash, tennis and gym).
For the golfers we have 7 courses within 15 minutes drive as well as a driving range 5 minutes up the road at Llanbedrog. In the wider area you could visit our castles at Caernarfon, Harlech and Criccieth, take in the sights of Anglesey, or take a ride on the famous narrow guage railway at Ffestiniog.
