Hardwick Parks is abundant with wild life, from flocks of Canada Geese and Greylags, to the majestic swans that make their home at the Park. The more energetic amongst you can also try all the water sports activities we are able to offer: Wakeboarding, Kneeboarding, Waterskiing, and Ringo Rides.

With 180 acres of stunning parkland including our two lakes, this beautiful location is teeming with wildlife in their natural habitat (all of whom are encouraged and welcomed as our guests!) We are proud to be a dedicated conservation-loving Park – something that you will see reflected across all areas of the site.

Hardwick Parks is positively surrounded by things, places and experiences to be explored and enjoyed – from the fascinating to the famous, to the beautiful and the bustling, the local area is simply packed full of new adventures to be had.
Less than 5 miles away from Hardwick Parks is the thriving market town of Witney, offering high street shopping, pubs, cinema and restaurants. For children, Witney offers its own miniature golf, skate park and play park including splash area, as well as a leisure centre offering a swimming pool. There is a soft play centre and trampoline park in the nearby town of Carterton.
Located near to River Thames, we are in a prime location for walks, hikes and bike rides, with lovely riverside pubs along the way.
The Dreaming Spires of Oxford are just 30 minutes away by car and easily accessible from one of the Park and Rides located outside of the city centre. It is by far one of the most popular days out amongst our guests. With deep-seated history and culture, there is so much to see and do that you’ll want to make a whole day out of it. There’s plenty of shopping opportunities from high-end brands to high street favourites in the new Westgate Shopping Centre, also host to some excellent eateries and bars.
For the culture vulture, you are spoilt for choice in Oxford, which of course is home to the world-famous Oxford University, made up of over 30 colleges. You can walk the river and have a picnic in Christ Church Meadow, see the beautiful Bridge of Sighs, visit Christchurch College and see it’s famous dining hall featured in the Harry Potter films. For those rainy days why not visit the Pitt Rivers, Ashmolean and Story Museum’s, ideal for all ages.
The Medieval market town of Burford is only a 15-minute drive away, offering one-off shops, boutiques and eateries. It’s the perfect place to start or end a Cotswold walk or stroll. For zoo lovers, Cotswold Wildlife Park is located in Burford and is home to a wide variety of animals and well worth a visit.
From the M40 Southbound
Take Exit 9 and follow the A34 to Pear Tree Interchange, look for A40 to Witney / Cheltenham, and follow the A40 westbound. Leave the A40 at the second Witney exit, and take the A415 towards Abingdon. The Park is signposted as a left hand turn from the A415 immediately after the turning for the B4449 to Eynsham.
From the M40 Northbound
Take Exit 8, which merges straight into the A40 westbound. Stay on the A40 all around the outskirts of Oxford and follow the signs for Witney and Cheltenham. Take the second Witney exit from the A40 and follow the A415 towards Abingdon. The Park is signposted as a left hand turn from the A415 immediately after the turning for the B4449 to Eynsham.
From the M4 West or East
Take Exit 13 (Chievely Services) and take the A34 northbound towards Oxford. Leave the A34 at the Abingdon exit and take the A415 towards Witney. Stay on the A415 over Newbridge and through Standlake Village still heading towards Witney. The Park is signposted as a right hand turn from the A415 immediately after the Oxford Wine Company premises.
From the M5 Southbound
Take Exit 10 and follow the A4019 signposted for Cheltenham / Oxford. Then take the A40 from Cheltenham until you are past Burford and take the Witney exit. Turn right at the bottom of the slip road towards Abingdon, and follow the A415. The Park is signposted as a left hand turn from the A415 immediately after the turning for the B4449 to Eynsham.
From the M5 Northbound
Take Exit 11A and follow the A417 east until its junction with the A40 east of Andoversford. Stay on the A40 until after Burford, and take the Witney exit. Turn right at the bottom of the slip road towards Abingdon, and follow the A415. The Park is signposted as a left hand turn from the A415 immediately after the turning for the B4449 to Eynsham.
