Island Lodge is located near Kingsbridge, in a peaceful rural setting, within the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Open all year, Island Lodge is pet and dog friendly, and offers you touring and seasonal pitches, along with modern facilities for you on your camping holiday.
The site is an ideal base for families and couples to explore all that South Devon and the surrounding area offers whether by car, bus or foot.
The touring site has easy access, and the well maintained grounds offer you grass pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes.
We also have a number of ‘super pitches’, with a hard standing base for your caravan (plus awning) or motorhome, with mains water point and drainage. These ‘super pitches’ can be reserved in advance, subject to availability. All pitches are offered with free electric hook up.
The purpose built, on site amenities are modern and well cared for, with free hot water showers. The site also offers family washrooms (shower, basin & WC), with disabled facilities available on request.
Indoor amenities are also provided for dishwashing (with free hot water) and a freezer for ice packs.
For families, the site has a large safe play area with swing, slide, climbing frame and walking beam. There is also an abundance of space in this area for soft ball games.
The main route to the South West is on the A38.
On the A38, heading south take the A384 for Totnes. From Totnes, take the A381, sign posted to Kingsbridge.
You will travel on this main road for approximately 12 miles.
At the roundabout, Stumpy Post Cross turn right, then after 300 metres turn left into the lane, this turn is sign posted for Island Lodge.
The site is located 200 metres on your left hand side.
