Woodyhyde Campsite is set in the heart of the beautiful Purbeck countryside. Our campsite is a large 13 acre rural site spread across 3 separate fields. Our campsite does not have marked pitches which creates a very relaxed, spacious feel. We give freedom to our visitors to pitch wherever they prefer. Dogs are very welcome on two of the camping fields but unfortunately the campsite cannot accommodate caravans.
If you love the fun of camping but aren’t keen on canvas or don’t have a tent, our Shepherds hut is the perfect solution! Leave your tent at home and enjoy the Cozy Camper!
We have recently been named, #1 favourite coastal campsite for families by Cool Camping in Coast Magazine.
Situated on the Isle of Purbeck, a stone's throw away from Dorset's famed Jurassic Coast. Our family-run campsite has 160 unmarked pitches on 3 fields across 13 acres where wild deer, pheasants and birds roam. This spacious campsite with broad, countryside views never feels full even during the peak camping season.
One field is bordered by a steam train, linking Corfe Castle and Swanage. Our facilities block houses 18 showers (including separate male and female disabled shower/toilet). 100 electrical hook-up points are available and 20 of which are hard standings for motorhomes and camper vans.
A large well stocked shop and Off Licence providing a wide selection of fresh foods, camping essentials and camping equipment. Dogs are welcome on our campsite with the exception of field 3 which is a no dogs field.
Dogs must be kept on leads at all times and any fouling must be collected and disposed of in the waist bins provided.
