Directions by Road
Sat Navs
We are in rural location where our postcode covers a number of properties spread over quite a large distance. Because of this, sat navs take you about a mile past the campsite unless you use our POI. The best approach is via the A31 to the bottom of Bighton Hill at Ropley then follow our written directions up Bighton Hill marked below **
Please note for all towed vehicles: Access is via the A31 onto Bighton Hill only. All other roads are unsuitable for towing.

From the A34 heading towards Winchester
At the end of the A34 (junction 9 of M3) take 2nd exit from roundabout onto A272 Spitfire Link (signposted A31 Alton). Stay on A31 (signposted Alton & Ropley). As you enter Ropley, you will pass a petrol station on your right, from here take the 3rd turning left at the crossroads (signposted Bighton); this is Bighton Hill & leads directly into Sutton Wood Lane. Go up Bighton Hill, over a small railway bridge, pass a few houses and bungalows on the left, then the road narrows with a sharp blind right hand then left hand bend; you are now in Sutton Wood Lane. You pass a drive on your left, this is called “The Ramblers†(although there is no sign); our site is the next drive on the left side with double wooden 5 bar gates and campsite signs. It’s just before “Cartref†bungalow and the next right-hand bend.
Please don’t turn in until you see campsite signs. Our neighbours won’t appreciate a visit, however short!
If arriving at night watch for the orange reflectors on the left. The campsite gate is first left after the reflectors.
